Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Johnson (ranked 4394 p4p, 4409 weight class) and Mamed Khalidovic (ranked 177 p4p, 176 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Khalidovic throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed right hand from Johnson misses the target.
Khalidovic throws out a counter right but Johnson avoids it with no problem.
Johnson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Khalidovic was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Khalidovic tests Johnson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Johnson throws a right hand that Khalidovic ducks under and follows up with a left that Khalidovic also avoids with ease.
Khalidovic let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Johnson takes a swing at Khalidovic's ribcage but misses.
Khalidovic slips under a jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Khalidovic lands a nice shot that snaps Johnson's head back.
Johnson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Khalidovic stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Khalidovic throws a body punch but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson appears to be looking for a big counter.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Mamed Khalidovic.
Well Khalidovic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
