Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ludwig Von Mises!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Mises lands a nice shot to the body.
Von Mises fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ape has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Von Mises takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Von Mises looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Von Mises is looking to chop away at Ape's legs.
Ape throwing a counter right hand but Von Mises manages to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Ape throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ape takes one on the button.
Ape tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Von Mises throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ape. Von Mises does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ape takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ape misses with an uppercut. Von Mises saw that one coming.
A slapping leg kick lands for Von Mises.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Von Mises checks a leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ape moves in looking to clinch but Von Mises pushes him off.
Von Mises misses with a body kick.
Ape swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Ape throws a series of punches but Von Mises moves out of range.

and Von Mises makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ape blocks a head kick by Von Mises.

We've been told by Ape's head coaches at The Lab that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Von Mises moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Von Mises tries to keep at a distance but Ape has taken the fight into the clinch.
Von Mises throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Apes head.
A right hook to the body lands for Von Mises.
Von Mises fails to pull guard.
Von Mises is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ape to keep the fight standing.
Ape goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ape.

Von Mises is trying to pull guard but Ape turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Grey Ape has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ludwig Von Mises.
Von Mises tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ape smiles and moves away.
Ape moves out of range of the body kick from Von Mises.
Ape looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Ape walks into a left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Von Mises with a nice calf kick.
Von Mises lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ape connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Von Mises throws a head kick but Ape moves out of range.
Ludwig Von Mises seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ape misses with a wild body shot.
Von Mises only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Ape checks a low kick from Von Mises.
Von Mises feints and then cracks Ape's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ape down.
Ape pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Von Mises decides to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ape stopping the sweep attempt from Von Mises.
Ape wanted to stand there but Von Mises had control of the position.
Von Mises escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ape gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Von Mises working for a triangle but Ape defends it easily.
Von Mises is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ape rolls with it to try and escape but Von Mises cranks on the arm and Ape is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
