Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alice Wonderland (ranked 24582 p4p, 24575 weight class) and Sexy Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Alice Wonderland has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alice Wonderland seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Wonderland shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fighter's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fighter is looking to stand up but Wonderland isn't so interested in that idea.
Fighter trying to keep a closed guard but Wonderland is proving a slippery customer.
Wonderland engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Wonderland gets to his feet - Fighter follows without any prompting.

Wonderland scores with a takedown into Fighter's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fighter holds on and takes a little breather.
Wonderland has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fighter is proving hard to escape from.
Fighter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wonderland manages to get himself to full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fighter gets to his feet - Wonderland follows without any prompting.
Wonderland tries for a takedown but Fighter circles away easily
and Fighter counters with a lovely shot to the body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Fighter.

Fighter dives in for a single leg takedown but Wonderland sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Wonderland fires out a quick counter leg kick but Fighter just manages to avoid it.

Wonderland throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fighter tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wonderland is in Fighter's guard.
Fighter wants to stand but Wonderland is controlling the position.

Wonderland gets to his feet. Fighter looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Wonderland fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fighter to the ground. Wonderland is now in Fighter's guard.
Fighter looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Wonderland stands up and waves to Fighter to follow him.

Wonderland tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fighter defends well and Wonderland ends up having to push Fighter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Fighter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wonderland's waist but Wonderland gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter off to one side.

Fighter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wonderland avoids it really well and circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fighter shoots in looking for a takedown but Wonderland manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fighter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wonderland sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fighter somewhat.

Wonderland scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Fighter tries to kick Wonderland off in order to stand up. Wonderland Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Wonderland is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter can do to turn this around?
Wonderland is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fighter will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Fighter wants to get back to his feet but Wonderland drags him back down.

Fighter tries for a takedown but Wonderland sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fighter is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wonderland sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wonderland quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Wonderland feints and as Fighter raises his hands in defense, Wonderland changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wonderland is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Fighter has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Wonderland has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Fighter has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Wonderland is on him like a limpet, forcing Fighter back against the cage.

Sexy Fighter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Alice Wonderland is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Wonderland gets a double leg takedown into Fighter's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Wonderland stands and steps away. Fighter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alice Wonderland.
Well Wonderland has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
