Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zac Balowski (ranked 5832 p4p, 5735 weight class) and Kody Harbrant (ranked 425 p4p, 422 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zac Balowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kody Harbrant!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Watson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Harbrant.
Balowski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A big right from Harbrant misses.
Harbrant throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Balowski misses with a few strikes there.

and Harbrant connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Balowski dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Harbrant. That did some damage!
Harbrant stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Balowski.

Harbrant takes the fight into the clinch.
Harbrant breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Harbrant counters with a lovely straight right hand!

We've been told by Balowski's head coaches at Panda Sprawl n Brawl that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Harbrant counters with a stiff right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Harbrant keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Balowski lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Balowski pivots, looking for a leg kick but Harbrant is out of range and Balowski settles back down.
Harbrant takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Harbrant's coach down at Tran MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Harbrant's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Balowski lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Kody Harbrant has been cut.
Harbrant has closed the distance and engaged Balowski in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Balowski's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harbrant breaks from the clinch.
Balowski falls off balance throwing a combination
and Harbrant counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Harbrant misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Balowski.

Harbrant throws a counter combo.
Harbrant's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Harbrant duly obliges.
Balowski is rocked!

and Harbrant counters with a left to the body.
Balowski is breathing heavily.
Harbrant fails to land with a series of punches.
Balowski connects with a leg kick.
A combination from Balowski does no damage.
Harbrant only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Balowski misses with a head kick.
Balowski takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Oh Balowski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Harbrant moves into range and clinches up with Balowski.
Balowski can't break the clinch.
Harbrant pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A left lands for Harbrant.
Harbrant steps in with a hook that catches Balowski right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Harbrant follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Balowski looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kody Harbrant!
