Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erik Eriksson (ranked 1980 p4p, 2076 weight class) and Big Turk (ranked 279 p4p, 289 weight class). Eriksson comes to the cage accompanied by Scarlet - End in blood. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turk bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Eriksson's head backwards.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Eriksson lands with an uppercut that bounces Turk off the cage and back into range.

It seemed like Turk was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Turk is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Eriksson.

Eriksson has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Eriksson moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Turk ! Eriksson continues to tee off on Turk , landing with a left and a right! Eriksson connects with a right hand that leaves Turk sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Eriksson!

In his post fight interview, Erik Eriksson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
