PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fits Miz (ranked 2181 p4p, 3187 weight class) and Hinski Grang (ranked 295 p4p, 417 weight class). Miz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Uka Uka - Trippie Redd. The crowd seem to be enjoying Grang's choice of entrance music: JID - Ed, Edd & Eddy. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Fits Miz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hinski Grang!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Grang manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Grang pushes Miz off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Miz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Grang sprawls well initially but Miz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Grang scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Miz manages to mount him!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Grang looks a forlorn figure.

Miz shoots in and bounces Grang off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fits Miz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
