Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manco Capac (ranked 1768 p4p, 3196 weight class) and Jorge Adesanya (ranked 258 p4p, 406 weight class). Capac comes to the cage accompanied by Iggy Pop - The Passenger. The crowd seem to be enjoying Adesanya's choice of entrance music: Scarface intro Theme. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manco Capac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jorge Adesanya!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Adesanya.
Capac dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Capac throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A looping hook to the body misses from Adesanya. Capac does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Capac counters with a series of strikes. Adesanya will be more careful next time no doubt.
No joy there for Capac, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Adesanya is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Adesanya takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Adesanya isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Capac stacks Adesanya on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Capac!
Adesanya is looking to get back to his feet here but Capac is keeping cool and he's managed to take Adesanya's back.

Capac is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at ZuccoTraining Ground, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Manco Capac.
