Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Sultan (ranked 4846 p4p, 4762 weight class) and Issy Rapid (ranked 378 p4p, 373 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rapid changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sultan tries to avoid it but Rapid manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sultan to the ground. Sultan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rapid changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sultan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sultan tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Rapid really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sultan . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rapid punishes Sultan with strikes from the back mount.

You can see the frustration on Sultan 's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Rapid has got his arm under Sultan 's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Sultan has spun round into Rapid's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rapid shoots in for a takedown but Sultan shows good takedown defense.

Rapid is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sultan dives into side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sultan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sultan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
