The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Twist.
Twist throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Dos Santos counters with a series of strikes. Twist will be more careful next time no doubt.
Twist throws out a leg kick but Dos Santos moves out of range and Twist only half commits.
Twist throws a looping overhand right but Dos Santos ducks down to avoid it.
Twist fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Dos Santos tries to sprawl but Twist drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Twist is looking to stall here but Dos Santos recovers full guard.
Twist working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dos Santos has momentary wrist control but Twist slips an elbow through the middle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Twist throws a strike but Dos Santos rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Twist wants to sweep but no luck.

Dos Santos stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Dos Santos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And Twist responds with a good body kick, but Dos Santos manages to step out the way in time.

Twist moves into the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Twist obliges.
Twist controlling the action here for a moment.
Twist throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dos Santos blocks it with crossed arms.
Twist landing knees to the body.
Dos Santos looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Twist tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Twist avoiding damage.
Dos Santos looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Twist gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Dos Santos is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Twist wants to take the fight to the mat but Dos Santos manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Dos Santos prevents the takedown attempt.
Gueremo Dos Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Twist.
Twist is stalling here.

Twist breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tony Twist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Twist rushes Dos Santos and presses him up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Twist with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Twist pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Dos Santos gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Twist.

A frustrated look appears on Dos Santos's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Twist is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dos Santos can't fight it off and eventually Twist manages to take the fight to the floor. Dos Santos looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Dos Santos uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Twist has closed the distance and engaged Dos Santos in a clinch.
Dos Santos is trying to force a seperation but Twist has the dominant position.

Twist lands an elbow just above Dos Santos 's eye.

Dos Santos wants to get back to striking at distance but Twist won't allow it.
Twist lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Twist lands a good knee to the midsection. Dos Santos won't want to take too many of those.

Twist breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Twist throws a head kick that misses
and Dos Santos counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Dos Santos lands a nice shot that snaps Twist's head back.

Twist is rocked!
OH! Twist has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Dos Santos smells blood and charges in for the finish! Dos Santos unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Twist sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
