Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tupac Shakur!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shakur closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smith circles away.

Smith shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shakur's guard.
Smith sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Shakur manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Smith manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Smith slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Shakur wants to pass the guard but Smith is keeping the position.
Smith trying to control the position here.
Shakur really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smith is looking for a triangle but Shakur pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith trying to keep a closed guard but Shakur is proving a slippery customer.
Shakur trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom.
Shakur might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Smith kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Shakur wanted to stand there but Smith had control of the position.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Smith keeping moving, preventing Shakur from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Shakur content to stall in guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Shakur wanted to stand there but Smith had control of the position.
Shakur connects with a couple of short punches.
Shakur makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shakur doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shakur manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Shakur stands up from guard. Let's bang!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Smith pulls Shakur in to control the position.

Smith is looking to sinch up a triangle. Shakur throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Smith's body to avoid the submission. Smith has instead reached around Shakur's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Smith arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Frank Smith!
