Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Madik MBaku (ranked 3044 p4p, 2089 weight class) and Leopold Galute (ranked 320 p4p, 232 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Madik MBaku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leopold Galute!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MBaku closes the distance and clinches.
Galute tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. MBaku smiles and moves away.
Galute tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but MBaku swivels and escapes.
Galute scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Galute throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. MBaku tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Galute is in MBaku's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now MBaku is on top in guard.
Galute keeping moving, preventing MBaku from controlling successfully.
Galute is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but MBaku frees his head nicely. Oh but Galute has switched to an armbar! MBaku is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
