Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dalton Swas (ranked 6512 p4p, 23031 weight class) and Chozen Gracie (ranked 174 p4p, 185 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dalton Swas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chozen Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swas misses with a takedown attempt - Gracie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And Gracie tries to counter it with a takedown but Swas pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Swas looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gracie misses with a straight right.
Gracie scores with a body shot.
Gracie throws a nice looking combination but Swas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Swas went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Gracie keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Swas throws a head kick that misses.
Gracie looks to land a combination but Swas avoids it well.
As Gracie tries to get set, Swas tries to push him back and clinch up but Gracie manages to avoid the attempt.
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Swas sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Swas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gracie.
No luck for Gracie with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Swas looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.
Gracie throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gracie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Swas throws out the jab.

Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Swas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gracie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Gracie is thwarting Swas's attempts to control the position.
Swas is pressing down on Gracie's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Swas looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gracie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gracie won't allow Swas to sweep him here.
Gracie slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dalton Swas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chozen Gracie.
Swas dives in and grabs Gracie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes down on Swas's head and hops out.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
It looked like Swas was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Swas, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Swas against the cage but Swas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Gracie as Swas shoots in.
Gracie throws a series of strikes that have Swas backpedaling.

Gracie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Swas on his heels. He'll look to pass Swas's guard now, I'm sure.
Swas is wriggling around but Gracie manages to pass to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Gracie is taking a breather. Swas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Gracie prevents Swas from improving his position.
Gracie looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Swas trying to control here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Well, if Gracie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Swas wants to get back to full guard but Gracie has mounted him!
Gracie controlling the pace for now.
Gracie moves to the back.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Chozen Gracie dominated that round.
That's time! Swas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Swas avoids a punch combination nicely.
Swas takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gracie throws a right hand that Swas ducks under and follows up with a left that Swas also avoids with ease.
Gracie scores with a hook.
Gracie lands with an overhand left.

Gracie shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Swas is rocked!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gracie in particular looking to stall.
Swas tries to kick Gracie off but Gracie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie works his foot free and advances to mount.
Chozen Gracie has got the better of the ground game so far.
Gracie is looking to work his way around to Swas's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Swas looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Swas rolls, trying to escape but Gracie keeps control of the position.
Good control from Gracie.
Swas trying to control the position but Gracie manages to sink in the hooks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Swas.
Swas trying to control but not successfully.
Gracie is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Swas tries to escape but Gracie has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Swas turns into Gracie and is now in his guard.

Gracie working for a triangle but Swas defends it easily.
Swas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now.

Gracie has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Swas should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gracie has tightened it up now! Swas should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Chozen Gracie!
