Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brock Keller (ranked 4058 p4p, 6034 weight class) and Damiano Silva (ranked 352 p4p, 460 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Silva's choice of entrance music: Apaga mas não bate. Damiano Silva will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brock Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Damiano Silva!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Keller postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Silva is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Keller, into his guard.

Keller is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silva defends it well.

Keller is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Keller eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Keller is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Silva has managed to free his arm - good work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Silva felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Silva drops back, looking for a kneebar! Keller looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Keller looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Keller!
