The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harvey misses with a two punch combination.
Harvey missing with a left hand there. Doinel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Harvey scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Doinel swings for the body but Harvey moves out of range.

and Doinel counters with a single leg into guard. Harvey didn't expect that.

Harvey kicks Doinel off and gets to his feet.
Doinel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Doinel with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Harvey is looking to clinch.
Doinel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Harvey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Doinel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Doinel tries to move to mount but Harvey blocks the move with his legs.
Doinel is breathing heavily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Doinel has hold of Harvey's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Harvey seems comfortable defending it but Doinel has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Harvey is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Harvey is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Doinel couldn't care less - he's delighted!
