Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rex The Leviathan (ranked 1553 p4p, 4106 weight class) and Barney Rumble (ranked 186 p4p, 458 weight class). Rumble has chosen Queens of the Stone Age - My God is the Sun as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Rex The Leviathan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rex The Leviathan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rumble throws a leg kick which misses The Leviathan's front leg but catches the back leg as The Leviathan tries to avoid it.
Rumble throws an ugly left hook that misses
and The Leviathan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Rumble scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Rumble throws a solid leg kick but The Leviathan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rumble.
It looked like The Leviathan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Rumble with a nice calf kick.

It looks like Barney Rumble has been cut.

Rumble connects with a right hand. The Leviathan shakes it off.
Rumble explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Rumble walks into a left hand.
Rumble throws a nice inside leg kick.
Rumble lands a leg kick that knocks The Leviathan off balance momentarily.

The Leviathan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rumble pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Barney Rumble seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The Leviathan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

The Leviathan drops Rumble with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rumble looks back up at him and smiles so The Leviathan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That has opened up Barney Rumble's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rumble swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and The Leviathan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The Leviathan throws a right hand that Rumble ducks under and follows up with a left that Rumble also avoids with ease.

Rumble is still on wobbly legs! Can The Leviathan finish him?

The Leviathan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rumble doesn't seem bothered though.
Rumble seems to have recovered his senses.
The Leviathan tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rumble bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of The Leviathan's head.

The Leviathan lands a big right hand that sends Rumble crashing to the mat! The Leviathan stays standing though and waves Rumble back to his feet!
Rumble is holding his hands too far apart here. The Leviathan throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Rumble is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
