Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chandler Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Biggie Shackleton!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson scores with a one two! Shackleton had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Nelson throws a front kick that sends Shackleton stumbling back into the cage.
Nelson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Nelson defending well as Shackleton loads up on a big left hand.
Nelson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Shackleton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nelson.
Nelson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shackleton is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Nelson misses with a two punch combination.
Nelson lands a left and a right that send Shackleton crashing to the mat, dazed. Nelson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Shackleton is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Nelson! Shackleton is out on his feet! Nelson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Shackleton is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Shackleton is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
