Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Odchigin Khadan (ranked 442 p4p, 375 weight class) and Joe Smith (ranked 58 p4p, 51 weight class). Khadan comes to the cage accompanied by Altai Kai (Turkic Throat Singing). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Odchigin Khadan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 16 - 3, fighting out of London, Joe Smith!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a glancing blow to the side of Khadan's head.
Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Khadan looks to land a right hand but Smith moved out of range.
Nice defenses there by Smith.
Khadan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Khadan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Khadan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Khadan.
Smith swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Donk. Khadan catches Smith right on the button with a cross.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Khadan throws a shot from downtown. Smith moves away and avoids it.
Smith throws a right and a left that Khadan avoids nicely.
Odchigin Khadan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khadan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away.
Khadan sizes up Smith with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Khadan throws a big shot that misses.
Khadan clinches with his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Khadan backwards.
Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Khadan throws a hook but Smith blocks it.
Smith tries a quick counter leg kick but Khadan is wise to it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Smith - that will leave a mark!
Khadan takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses.
Smith works the jab nicely.
Khadan throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily.
Despite the aggression on Smith's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Khadan scores with a nice strike.
A shot to the liver by Khadan. Beautiful body shot.
Smith lands a big head kick that sends Khadan tumbling to the mat! Smith takes a step backwards and waves Khadan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Khadan is rocked!
It looks like Odchigin Khadan has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khadan gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Smith gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Khadan is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Smith!
Joe Smith gave a mention to Brooklyn Apothecary in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
