The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motta scores with a nice right hand.
Herbert gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Motta.
Motta throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Motta fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Herbert on the side of the head.
Herbert throws a solid leg kick but Motta takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Herbert.
Herbert moves out of range of the strikes.
Motta moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Herbert is looking to chop away at Motta's legs.
Motta cracks Herbert with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Herbert slips a jab and a cross from Motta.

Motta fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Roger Motta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Motta lands with a hook. Herbert tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Motta scores with a one two! Herbert had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
