The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sultan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Henderson!

Sultan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Sultan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sultan has eaten all the pies!
Henderson is breathing heavily.
Sultan wants to control from the top but Henderson keeps moving.
Sultan passes into half guard.

Sultan stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Henderson moves in looking to clinch but Sultan pushes him off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sultan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Henderson to the ground. Sultan is now in Henderson's guard.
Henderson wants to stand up but Sultan is controlling him.
Henderson wants to get back to his feet but Sultan passes into half guard.

Sultan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Henderson is looking to escape.
Henderson is refusing to be controlled, as Sultan sits in half guard.
Henderson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sultan is looking to take a break and control but Henderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sultan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Henderson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Sultan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Henderson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sultan.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sultan wants to take a breather but Henderson is having none of it.
Sultan stops Henderson from getting back to his feet.
Henderson pushes Sultan off but Sultan dives into side control.
Henderson is pushing Sultan's head away, looking to escape. Sultan manages to hold on to the position though.
Sultan controls the position from side control.

Sultan decides to stand back up. Sultan steps back and let's Henderson get back to his feet.

Sultan pushes Henderson up against the cage in a clinch.

Sultan is struggling to control the position.

Sultan manages to break the clinch.

Henderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sultan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sultan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Henderson is wriggling around but Sultan manages to pass to half guard.
Sultan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Henderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sultan is trying to control the action in half guard but Henderson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Sultan is keen to just control but Henderson is a slippery customer.

Sultan is taking a breather. Henderson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Sultan unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Henderson wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Sultan celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
