Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Ferrari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michal Liskiewicz!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liskiewicz feints and as Ferrari raises his hands in defense, Liskiewicz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ferrari looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Liskiewicz scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Liskiewicz connects with a couple of short punches.
Liskiewicz lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Ferrari is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Blanc Fitness Academy that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Liskiewicz is in close to Ferrari's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Liskiewicz stands up over Ferrari, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Liskiewicz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ferrari swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Liskiewicz stands up over Ferrari, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Liskiewicz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferrari. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Liskiewicz lands a couple of elbows.
Ferrari working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Liskiewicz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Liskiewicz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ferrari can't keep his opponent in guard - Liskiewicz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Liskiewicz is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Liskiewicz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ferrari with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Liskiewicz lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Ferrari quite badly. Ferrari pulls Liskiewicz in close trying to recover. Liskiewicz postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Ferrari on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Ferrari doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michal Liskiewicz!
Michal Liskiewicz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
