Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sven Ludwig (ranked 2133 p4p, 1153 weight class) and Bobby LeBeau (ranked 295 p4p, 159 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludwig throws a low kick but LeBeau avoids it.
Ludwig slips under a jab from LeBeau.

LeBeau has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Ludwig cracks LeBeau with a right hand to the side of the head.

It looks like Bobby LeBeau has been cut.

Ludwig has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Ludwig wants the takedown. LeBeau is fighting it off but Ludwig persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in LeBeau's guard against the cage.
LeBeau wants to get back to his feet but Ludwig is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Ludwig tries to close the distance and clinch up but LeBeau swats him away and circles back towards the center.

LeBeau swings and misses with a hook to the body.

No joy there for LeBeau, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

LeBeau throws a looping overhand right but Ludwig ducks down to avoid it.
Ludwig lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Ludwig shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with LeBeau but LeBeau pushes him off and we're back to square one.

LeBeau dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ludwig tries a head kick but it misses.

Bobby LeBeau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ludwig.

Ludwig swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

LeBeau is trying to break the clinch but Ludwig has him pressed against the cage.

Ludwig is trying to trip LeBeau. He has hold of a leg but LeBeau is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ludwig persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Ludwig postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Ludwig seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but LeBeau does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ludwig lands a nice short elbow.

Ludwig has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

LeBeau takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Ludwig's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
