PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dis Saster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marquise Mambosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mambosa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. O Fortuna kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mambosa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Saster to the mat! Saster manages to get full guard.
Mambosa wants to control from the top but Saster keeps moving.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Mambosa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Saster tries to roll over but Mambosa keeps him under control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Saster has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mambosa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mambosa stands and throws Saster's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Mambosa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mambosa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Saster tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mambosa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
