Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toaster tries to score with a low kick but Machida moves his leg out of the way.
Machida slips a jab from Toaster.
Machida uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Toaster.
Toaster wants to clinch.
Machida connects with a looping right hand.
A head kick misses from Toaster.
Toaster throws a low kick but it's checked well by Machida.
Rescue Toaster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Toaster throws and low kick but Machida moves out of range easily.
Toaster doesn't manage to clinch there - Machida circles away.
Toaster throws a body punch but Machida moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Toaster tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Machida paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Machida blocks a low kick nicely.
Machida cracks Toaster with a right hand to the side of the head.

Toaster tries a head kick but it misses.
Toaster tries to clinch but Machida is having none of it.
Machida moves out of range of the body kick from Toaster.
A clash of legs there as Machida blocks the low kick.
Machida ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Machida throws a head kick that misses.
Toaster will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Machida lands a nice leg kick that just misses Toaster's sensitive parts.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Toaster crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Machida - the referee stops the clock and Toaster gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Machida. Toaster manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

A punch lands to the side of Machida 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Toaster is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Machida counters with an outside leg kick.
Machida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A jab from Machida finds it's way through Toaster's defenses.
Toaster doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Machida counters with a right hand to the body.
Machida closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Toaster throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Machida counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Toaster is rocked!
Machida fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Toaster to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Toaster looks to clinch but Machida throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Toaster taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
