Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buster Cherry (ranked 4437 p4p, 4929 weight class) and Dogac Binguel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Binguel forces Cherry back against the cage and clinches.
Cherry jumps guard but Binguel turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Binguel on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Binguel manages to break the clinch.
Cherry is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cherry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Binguel swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Binguel wants to control but Cherry is keeping him busy.

Binguel misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cherry is working to avoid the ground and pound but Binguel connects with a decent elbow.
Binguel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cherry drops down looking for an ankle pick but Binguel pulls his leg out and moves away.
Binguel fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Binguel throws a series of punches but Cherry moves out of range.
Cherry is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Binguel.

Binguel gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Binguel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A thudding body kick lands there by Binguel!
Cherry is breathing heavily.
Binguel feints a jab promting Cherry to slip. Binguel then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cherry slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Buster Cherry has been cut.
Cherry changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Binguel tries to avoid it but Cherry manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Binguel to the ground. Binguel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Cherry moves in looking to clinch but Binguel pushes him off.
Binguel swats away the attempt to clinch by Cherry.
Binguel goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Buster Cherry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Binguel lands with a kick to the temple. Cherry shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

I really don't envy Binguel right now.

That was a close second round but I would say that Buster Cherry will probably get the nod.

Cherry chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Binguel can pounce on him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cherry tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Binguel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Oh Cherry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Binguel shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cherry's guard.
Cherry can't keep his opponent in guard - Binguel advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Binguel lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Binguel is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cherry is just riding it out for now. Binguel eventually gives up the hold.

Binguel seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Cherry is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
