These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a jab but it's blocked by Tropper.
Tropper drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Brown defends it well.
Brown just misses with a punch to the body.

A left and a right from Brown both land. Nice combination.
Tropper lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Brown throws a nice outside leg kick.
Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tropper circles away quickly and effectively.
Tropper throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brown throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown throws out a loose jab but Tropper uses good head movement to avoid it.

Brown was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Bill Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown throws a head kick that half lands.
Brown lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tropper throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Brown feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tropper sprawling to the canvas! Tropper rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Brown finish him?!

Tropper is rocked!

Brown lands a big head kick that sends Tropper tumbling to the mat! Brown takes a step backwards and waves Tropper back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Tropper is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him?
Brown works Tropper's body with a nice hook.
Tropper gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Brown gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Tropper is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
