Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeppe Bjoergen (ranked 4103 p4p, 3788 weight class) and Art Bowers (ranked 143 p4p, 138 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeppe Bjoergen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Art Bowers!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowers takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Art Bowers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good exchange - Bowers coming out on top.
Bowers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bowers throws out a counter right but Bjoergen avoids it with no problem.

Bjoergen closes the distance and clinches.
A short body shot lands from Bjoergen as the two fighters clinch.
Bjoergen cracks Bowers with a nice body shot.
Bjoergen scores with a shot to the side of Bowers's head.
Bjoergen gets through Bowers's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bowers.
Bowers blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bowers blocking some punches.
Bjoergen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bowers just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bjoergen lands a body punch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Bjoergen.

It looks like Art Bowers has been cut.
Bjoergen stalling the fight.
Bjoergen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Bjoergen slows down the pace here.
Bowers is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Bjoergen decides to pull guard.

Bjoergen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bowers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bowers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bowers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bjoergen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bowers has managed to get both his arms back between Bjoergen's legs - danger averted.
Bowers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bjoergen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bjoergen tries to strike from the bottom.
Bowers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bjoergen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bjoergen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bowers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bowers has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bjoergen is proving hard to escape from.

Bowers has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bjoergen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bowers is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bjoergen pulls down on the head and he's put Bowers to sleep! This one is all over!
