The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatum moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tatum throws an overhand right that lands on Solane's shoulder, as Solane tries to avoid the shot.
Solane steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Tatum.
Tatum slaps away a takedown attempt from Solane, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Solane tries to clinch up but Tatum circles away and keeps his distance.
Solane fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tatum has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Monsters BJJ in the buildup to the fight.

Solane has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tatum breaks from the clinch.
Tatum tries to bum rush Solane with a series of wild strikes but Solane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tatum lands with a nice combination. Solane backs away looking to recover.
No joy there for Solane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tatum scores with a jab. Solane acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Solane doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tatum counters with a crisp right that sends Solane to the canvas! Tatum follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
