Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy King (ranked 2052 p4p, 3704 weight class) and Ralph Long (ranked 301 p4p, 499 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ralph Long!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King lands a jab.
King shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Long wants to improve his position but King is controlling well.
King sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Long defending well though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
King prevents Long from standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Long keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Long moves into full guard.
Long throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King distracts Long with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
King connects with a couple of short punches.
King throwing strikes but missing.
King trying to control the position from guard on top but Long is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Long looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Long keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully.
Long throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Long has momentary wrist control but King slips an elbow through the middle.
King controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
King stands up over Long, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Long is rocked!
King content to stall in guard here.
King content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Long is still in real trouble! Can King finish him?
King postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Long covers up, he's hurt! King keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from King and the ref steps in to end the fight! King can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy King!
