Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Trayans (ranked 3229 p4p, 2792 weight class) and Hector Torres (ranked 354 p4p, 293 weight class). Trayans comes into the arena with Non-Natty Anthem blaring out of the sound system. Hector Torres has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Trayans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hector Torres!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trayans scores with a body shot.
Torres fails with the takedown

and Trayans counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Torres!
Torres is looking for a sweep. Trayans is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Trayans wants to stand up but Torres is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trayans prevents Torres from improving his position.
Torres gets back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Torres is looking for a triangle but Trayans pushes his legs off easily.
Torres wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Torres wants to sweep here but Trayans controlling him for the moment.
Torres striking off his back but it's not causing Trayans any problems.
Torres trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Torres's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Trayans connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Torres scrambles back to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Torres or perhaps it was just good defense by Trayans, which made it look bad.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

and Trayans counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Hector Torres has been cut.
Tom Trayans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Torres.
Torres takes one to the side of the head.
Hector Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trayans looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Trayans backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Torres's temple! It sends Torres violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Trayans celebrates and the doctors try to help Torres!
