Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Uaku Uaku Uaua Kampamba (ranked 6512 p4p, 5829 weight class) and John Seed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Seed acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kampamba shoots for a double leg takedown but Seed sprawls well. He's pushed Kampamba's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Seed lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Seed moves into the clinch.
Kampamba is trying to drag Seed to the mat but Seed just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Seed throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kampambas head.

Kampamba is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Seed can't fight it off and eventually Kampamba manages to take the fight to the floor. Seed looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Seed has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Kampamba has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Seed is pressed up against the cage. Kampamba has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Seed down to the mat. Seed avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Seed pushes Kampamba away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kampamba gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kampamba is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Seed has escaped the position, nice work there.
Seed wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Seed sneaks out the side door and pushes Kampamba away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kampamba throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Seed's waist but Seed gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kampamba off to one side.
Kampamba shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Seed as he avoids it easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kampamba enables Seed to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kampamba manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Seed decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kampamba, up you get!
