Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Senior (ranked 2143 p4p, 1823 weight class) and Bolo Yueng (ranked 299 p4p, 254 weight class). Yueng has chosen Stranglehold by Ted Nugent as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Senior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bolo Yueng !
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Senior is trying hard to land a takedown here. Yueng sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Senior has a takedown stuffed.
Yueng is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Yueng misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yueng fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Senior, pushing him back against the cage.
Senior is trying to drag Yueng to the mat but Yueng just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Yueng has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Senior regains guard immediately.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yueng connects with a nice short shot to Senior's temple.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Yueng uses his free foot to push down on Senior's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Senior.
Yueng swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Senior is now in Yueng 's guard. A big mistake from Yueng there, giving up the dominant position!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Yueng feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Senior has his foot on Yueng 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yueng works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Yueng fails with an attempt to clinch.
Senior tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yueng swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Senior misses with a wild combination.
Senior keeps the fight on the outside.

Senior shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yueng but Yueng pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Senior tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yueng was well out of range. Poor timing from Senior.
Senior throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yueng stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Yueng gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Senior got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yueng has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Senior has managed to get both his arms back between Yueng 's legs - danger averted.

Senior stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yueng swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well Yueng has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
