Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between joe blow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). joe blow had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
blow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Harper.

blow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
blow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harper keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Harper had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. blow is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Harper Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take blow's back instead.

That was a close round but I would say that joe blow will probably get the nod.

That's time! blow's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A right-left combo lands from blow.
Harper lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
