Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Rico manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Xxx on his heels. He'll look to pass Xxx's guard now, I'm sure.
Xxx controlling the position.
Rico with a flurry of punches that miss.
Rico loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Rico keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Xxx's head.
Rico is looking to advance position but Xxx has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Rico tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Rico tries to hold on but Xxx pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rico is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Rico is squirming around, avoiding Xxx's attempts to control the action.
Xxx avoids the attempt from Rico to control.
Xxx wants to control the pace but Rico is squirming around nicely.
Rico wants to hold on but Xxx pushes him away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Xxx can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rico is looking to escape.
Rico controls the position.
Rico is looking to improve his position but Xxx isn't that keen on the idea.

Xxx avoids the attempt from Rico to control.
Xxx trying to control but Rico is having none of it.
Rico on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rico tries to get out of the position.
Rico is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Rico manages to control the position for a moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rico has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rico tries to lock up and control but Xxx gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Xxx Xxx dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Xxx gets the takedown into side control.
Who's going to make the next move?
Xxx working away.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Rico is trying to control Xxx's posture but Xxx avoids it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Rico shoots in looking for a takedown but Xxx manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rico's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Xxx jabs at Rico's body.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rico shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A countering left hand to the body from Xxx misses.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Xxx.
Xxx has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Xxx wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rico keeps working.
Rico tries to bench press Xxx off him but Xxx keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Xxx is looking to take a break and control but Rico is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Rico is trying to control Xxx's posture but Xxx avoids it.
Rico is looking for a sweep.
Rico keeps Xxx under control for a moment.
Xxx Xxx has got the better of the ground game so far.
Xxx working away.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Spider Rico is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Rico fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Xxx sprawls well initially but Rico persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Rico lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Rico is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Xxx is breathing heavily.
Rico scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Xxx on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rico slips a nice elbow through Xxx's hands, connecting with Xxx's forehead.
Xxx taking some punishment here, with Rico in his half guard.
Rico looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Xxx with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Xxx is rocked!
Rico lands with a punch from half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Xxx Xxx will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Rico shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Xxx is on queer street and Rico is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Spider Rico!
After winning the bout, Spider Rico thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
