Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Markkanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biot Savart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markkanen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Savart throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Mikko Markkanen has been cut.
Markkanen looks for a takedown but Savart sprawls well.
Mikko Markkanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A head kick lands from Savart that sends Markkanen to the canvas. Markkanen tries to scramble back to his feet but Savart brings him back down into side control.

Markkanen is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Savart moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Markkanen tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here as Savart stalls from top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Markkanen tries to buck Savart off but Savart is having none of it.

Savart tries to stand but Markkanen is controlling his head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Biot Savart dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mikko Markkanen's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Horrible takedown by Markkanen or perhaps it was just good defense by Savart which made him look bad.

Markkanen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Savart controls Markkanen momentarily but Markkanen frees himself.
Savart wants to sweep but no luck.

Markkanen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Savart controls Markkanen momentarily but Markkanen frees himself.

Savart has his hands on Markkanen's head, controlling the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Savart working a defensive guard but Markkanen manages to pass into side control anyway.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Left hook, right uppercut from Savart.
Markkanen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Savart lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Markkanen circles away quickly and effectively.
Savart Rushes Markkanen and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Markkanen is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Savart Piles on the pressure and Markkanen crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
