The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouldershoulder throws a lazy head kick
and Roumain connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Pikel Bouldershoulder has been cut.
Bouldershoulder walks into a jab.
No joy there for Roumain , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bouldershoulder misses with a combination
letting Roumain counter with a right hand.
Bouldershoulder is rocked!
Roumain throws a right hand that Bouldershoulder ducks under and follows up with a left that Bouldershoulder also avoids with ease.
Oh Bouldershoulder is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bouldershoulder shoots and misses
letting Roumain counter with a right hand.
Roumain throws a jab when Bouldershoulder was well out of range.
Bouldershoulder misses with a hook
and Roumain counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bouldershoulder's knee momentarily.
Bouldershoulder connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Bouldershoulder seems to have got his legs back now.
Bouldershoulder misses with a shot to the body
and Roumain counters with a slapping leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Roumain cracks Bouldershoulder with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Roumain has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bouldershoulder to stand back up!
Roumain pounces like a tiger and cracks Bouldershoulder with a vicious hook! Bouldershoulder is down but not out! Roumain follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nelson Roumain !
A pretty intense looking Nelson Roumain took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
