Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alfie Shade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Delingpole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shade shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Shade stopping the sweep attempt from Delingpole.
Shade stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Delingpole swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Shade slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Shade advances to half guard.
Delingpole is looking to control Shade's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Delingpole avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shade looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Shade scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Shade wants to control but Delingpole is keeping him busy.

Shade is trying to work for a kimura but Delingpole is defending well.

Shade wants to work for an arm triangle but Delingpole is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Delingpole looks like he's trying to stand up.
Shade is keen to just control but Delingpole is a slippery customer.
Delingpole is trying to maintain the position but Shade is very close to passing his half guard.
Shade slips a nice elbow through Delingpole's hands, connecting with Delingpole's forehead.

Shade seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Shade passes to side control.

Shade working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Shade is breathing heavily.
Delingpole tries to bench press Shade off him but Shade keeps the position.

Shade lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Delingpole hang on?
Shade wants to control the pace but Delingpole is squirming around nicely.

Shade looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Delingpole tries to hold on but Shade postures up.

Shade sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Shade has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Shade is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Delingpole can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Shade controlling the position easily from mount.
Delingpole tries to hold on but Shade postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Delingpole decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Delingpole is looking for a kimura here.

Shade pushes Delingpole off and gets back to his feet.

Shade drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Shade is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Shade drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shade jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Delingpole wants to sweep here but Shade controlling him for the moment.
Delingpole is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Shade passes Delingpole's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Shade is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Delingpole on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shade connects with a nice short shot to Delingpole's temple.

Shade is working for a kimura but Delingpole is defending it quite comfortably.

Shade blocks the strikes from Delingpole.
Delingpole wants to control the action here but instead Shade manages to pass to full mount!
Shade lands a heavy elbow.

Shade working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Delingpole turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Shade off and cradles Delingpole's limp body as Shade celebrates with his corner.
