The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claremont throws a leg kick that misses.

Claremont shoots in and bounces Carvalho off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Carvalho is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Claremont stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carvalho swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Claremont wants to control from the top but Carvalho keeps moving.

Carvalho looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Carvalho is looking to sinch up a triangle. Claremont throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Carvalho's body to avoid the submission. Carvalho has instead reached around Claremont's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Carvalho arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
