Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abraham King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nelson Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abraham King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nelson Walker!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Walker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Walker looking for a guillotine here but King defends easily.
Walker will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
King advances position into side control!
Walker is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walker is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

King wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Walker, who protects the arm well.
Check out the look on King's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

King decides to stand up, so the ref orders Walker to his feet.
Walker tries to clinch up but King circles away and keeps his distance.

King will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nelson Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Walker lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Walker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

King isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Walker stacks King on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Walker!

Walker is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, King has escaped the position, nice work there.

Walker lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walker rushes King and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Walker using the Thai plumb to throw knees but King has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
King is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Walker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
King has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Walker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

King is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Walker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

King is trying to drag Walker to the mat but Walker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

King turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Walker stops King from passing to mount.

King looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

King goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Walker rolls with the submission and now he's on top in King's guard! Nice work there by Walker!
King bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Walker's guard.

King could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Walker thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
King thows a big elbow that misses.
Walker trying to keep a closed guard but King is proving a slippery customer.

King is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Walker is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Walker has escaped and now he's on top!
Walker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Walker is working King over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Still in half guard, Walker seems content to control.
Walker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks King with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Walker is sneakily working for an arm triangle but King sees it coming and defends easily.
King is not content to let Walker control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nelson Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Walker cracks King with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Walker is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. King can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Walker is going olschool here, as he tries to force King to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so King shrugs it off.

King is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Abraham King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Nelson Walker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Nelson Walker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Walker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
