Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Bjornsson (ranked 3313 p4p, 1763 weight class) and Vic Barnes (ranked 351 p4p, 201 weight class). Bjornsson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ultimate - Denzel Curry. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes looks to land a combination but Bjornsson avoids it well.
Bjornsson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Barnes lands with a kick to the ribs.
Barnes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've been informed that Barnes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Bjornsson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Eddie Bjornsson has been cut.

Barnes is looking to chop away at Bjornsson's legs.

Bjornsson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Barnes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bjornsson is in Barnes's guard.
Bjornsson is looking to work some ground and pound but Barnes has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barnes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bjornsson's guard.

Barnes might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bjornsson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Bjornsson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Bjornsson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bjornsson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Barnes quite badly. Barnes pulls Bjornsson in close trying to recover. Bjornsson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Barnes on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Barnes doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
