Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mousa Dembele (ranked 3217 p4p, 1884 weight class) and Paul Rabbitte (ranked 121 p4p, 66 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabbitte scores with a head kick.

It looks like Mousa Dembele has been cut.
Rabbitte tries to clinch but Dembele moves out of range.

Dembele has closed the distance and engaged Rabbitte in a clinch.
Rabbitte tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Dembele lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Rabbitte breaks the clinch.
Rabbitte pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Dembele was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Dembele cracks Rabbitte with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Paul Rabbitte has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That has opened up Paul Rabbitte's cut even more.
Rabbitte throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Dembele stopping the sweep attempt from Rabbitte.

Rabbitte is looking to stand up but Dembele isn't so interested in that idea.
Dembele wants to control from the top but Rabbitte keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rabbitte pulls Dembele in close to his closed guard and prevents Dembele from doing any damage or advancing position.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mousa Dembele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A lazy left from Dembele finds it's target.

Dembele cracks Rabbitte with a big right hand and Rabbitte goes down!
Rabbitte is still in real trouble! Can Dembele finish him?

Rabbitte seems to have recovered his senses.
Rabbitte bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dembele's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dembele is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Rabbitte tries to free his leg and advance position but Dembele is retaining full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dembele connects with a single shot there.

The cut above Paul Rabbitte's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Rabbitte lands a big head kick that sends Dembele tumbling to the mat! Rabbitte takes a step backwards and waves Dembele back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh Dembele is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dembele keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Paul Rabbitte's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Paul Rabbitte's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
