The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponnaganti thuds his right hand into San Diaz's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ponnaganti throws a quick head kick that skims the top of San Diaz's head.

San Diaz wants to clinch up but Ponnaganti keeps it at a distance.
San Diaz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by San Diaz or perhaps it was just good defense by Ponnaganti which made him look bad.
Ponnaganti connects with a high kick.
Ponnaganti walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. San Diaz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

San Diaz is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ponnaganti has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ponnaganti circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! San Diaz drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Ponnaganti follows San Diaz to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
