Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson gets a double leg takedown into Taylor's guard.
Taylor wants to get back to his feet but Wilson passes into half guard.

Wilson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taylor can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wilson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Wilson stops Taylor from getting back to his feet.
Taylor throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Wilson is looking to advance position but Taylor won't allow it.
Wilson content to control rather than advance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Wilson is working for a submission of some sort.
Taylor is trying to get back to full guard.
Taylor wants to control but Wilson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wilson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Taylor is looking to get back to full guard here but Wilson has managed to pass to side control instead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Taylor reaches up around Wilson 's neck trying to control. But Wilson takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Taylor! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Taylor is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Wilson celebrates the victory with the fans!
