The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scobie lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Cozad takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Scobie jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Malcolm Scobie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scobie scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Scobie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cozad.
Cozad tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Scobie was well out of range. Poor timing from Cozad.
Cozad walks into a jab.
Cozad misses with a looping left.
A little jabbing left from Scobie on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Cozad connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Scobie's hands.

It looks like Malcolm Scobie has been cut.
Cozad takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cozad lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Scobie out cold! Scobie is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
