The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendoza misses with a looping right.
Paradise tries to clinch but Mendoza moves away
and Mendoza cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Paradise instigates a clinch.
Paradise tries to pull guard but Mendoza holds him up against the cage and eventually Paradise drops back down to his feet.
Paradise jumps guard but Mendoza stands there with Paradise around his waist. Paradise gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Paradise avoids the elbow strike from Mendoza , against the cage.
Mendoza lands an elbow inside.
Mendoza tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Paradise successfully pulls guard.

Paradise is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Mendoza rolls with it to try and escape but Paradise cranks on the arm and Mendoza is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
