Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Toshiro Kishimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konji Yamaski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kishimoto kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fighting dreamers. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Konji Yamaski!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kishimoto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yamaski paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kishimoto throws a one two combo.
Kishimoto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yamaski.
Yamaski fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kishimoto stuffs the takedown.

Kishimoto feints and as Yamaski raises his hands in defense, Kishimoto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kishimoto could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Yamaski is looking for a triangle but Kishimoto pushes his legs off easily.
Yamaski working a defensive guard but Kishimoto manages to pass into side control anyway.

Yamaski throws Kishimoto to one side and escapes!
Kishimoto throws a right and a left that both miss.
Yamaski takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kishimoto doesn't manage to clinch there - Yamaski circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yamaski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kishimoto as he jumps to the side.
Toshiro Kishimoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konji Yamaski.
Yamaski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yamaski takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kishimoto swinging wilding here.
Kishimoto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yamaski swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kishimoto shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kishimoto was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Yamaski wants to hold on but Kishimoto pushes him away.
Yamaski slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Yamaski is looking to control Kishimoto's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Yamaski avoid being mounted?
Yamaski looks gassed!
Kishimoto is looking to take a break and control but Yamaski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Kishimoto is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Yamaski wants to get back to full guard.
Kishimoto not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Yamaski rushes Kishimoto and presses him up against the cage.
Yamaski prevents Kishimoto from breaking the clinch.
The is referee keeping an eye on Yamaski - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Yamaski pulls guard effortlessly.
Yamaski has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Kishimoto is looking to stand up but Yamaski won't let him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Yamaski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kishimoto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Yamaski is tightening it up a little... Kishimoto has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kishimoto reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kishimoto taps out! nice BJJ there by Yamaski!
