Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ajay Dabeast (ranked 4601 p4p, 4396 weight class) and Chinnarach Kanjanasuwan (ranked 448 p4p, 434 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanjanasuwan throws a low kick but Dabeast avoids it.

and Dabeast counters with a shoot takedown. Kanjanasuwan fights it but they end up in guard.

Dabeast looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kanjanasuwan is fending him off so far but Dabeast persists. Nope, Kanjanasuwan circles away and we're back to standing.
Dabeast tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kanjanasuwan defends well and Dabeast ends up having to push Kanjanasuwan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kanjanasuwan lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Dabeast changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kanjanasuwan tries to avoid it but Dabeast manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kanjanasuwan to the ground. Kanjanasuwan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

As Kanjanasuwan tries to get set, Dabeast tries to push him back and clinch up but Kanjanasuwan manages to avoid the attempt.

Dabeast shoots for a double leg takedown but Kanjanasuwan sprawls well. He's pushed Dabeast's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kanjanasuwan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dabeast paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dabeast looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kanjanasuwan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dabeasts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
