Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Sideshow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Enter Sandman. Gerald Henderson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henderson forces Sideshow back against the cage and clinches.

Henderson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sideshow!
Sideshow seems to have recovered his senses.

Henderson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Sideshow is on top in guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sideshow is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Henderson is surviving well by controlling Sideshow's body position as best he can.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Henderson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Sideshow prevents Henderson from getting the reversal.
Henderson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Henderson is pushing down on Sideshow's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sideshow is fighting to maintain full guard but Henderson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Henderson wants to free his trapped foot but Sideshow is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Henderson throws a hook to the side of Sideshow's head but Sideshow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sideshow tries to move into range but Henderson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Henderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sideshow circles away quickly and effectively.

Sideshow shoots in looking for a takedown. Henderson tries to sprawl out of it but Sideshow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Henderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Henderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sideshow moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sideshow wants to clinch up but Henderson keeps it at a distance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Henderson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Horrible takedown by Sideshow or perhaps it was just good defense by Henderson which made him look bad.

Sideshow tries for a takedown but Henderson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Henderson postures up in Sideshow's guard and throws a big left but Sideshow blocks it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sideshow closes the distance and clinches up with Henderson, looking for a takedown. Sideshow pushes Henderson against the cage but Henderson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
