Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Duyanas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Pandemic Fight System in the buildup to the fight.
Duyanas lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Duyanas throws a push kick but Jones slaps the foot to one side.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duyanas but Duyanas pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Duyanas lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards.

Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jones takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Duyanas misses with a wild combination.

Jones jumps guard.
Duyanas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duyanas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duyanas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Duyanas wants to stand but Jones has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Duyanas leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jones is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Jones is trying to trip Duyanas. He has hold of a leg but Duyanas is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jones persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Duyanas has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duyanas can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Duyanas, as that shot connected.
Duyanas pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jones back to the cage. Duyanas follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
