Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Jenkins (ranked 6689 p4p, 3242 weight class) and Kevin Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes to the cage accompanied by Imagine Dragons - Thunder. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Jones!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
Jones throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Alan Jenkins has been cut.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Jenkins circles away.
Jenkins dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jenkins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
And Jones tries to counter it with a takedown but Jenkins pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Jenkins throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.
Jones throws a sloppy body shot
and Jenkins counters with a nice uppercut.
Jenkins slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
A little feinted left hand from Jenkins on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Jenkins definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jones misses with a body shot

and Jenkins counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jenkins prevents Jones from improving his position.
Jenkins scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Jones felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Jones has a hand on Jenkins's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Jenkins takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Jenkins is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jones has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jones!
Jones wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Jenkins is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jenkins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Jenkins's legs - danger averted.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jenkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jenkins has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.

Jenkins has an active guard here but Jones has managed to pass into half guard.
Jones takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Jones has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jenkins defend it? Jones steps over the head and cranks it - Jenkins is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jones!
