Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Caspian Tennessen (ranked 2303 p4p, 3720 weight class) and Josh Roffen (ranked 317 p4p, 490 weight class). Tennessen comes to the cage accompanied by Manowar - Warriors of the World. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Josh Roffen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tennessen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Roffen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tennessen throws a body punch but Roffen moves out of range.

Tennessen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Roffen sprawls well initially but Tennessen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Roffen manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Tennessen keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Tennessen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Tennessen has picked Roffen up - he's going for a ride! Tennessen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Tennessen uses his free foot to push down on Roffen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Roffen.
